ROTH RIDE TO HAMLIN

ROTH RIDE TO HAMLIN

March 16, 2022

Thank you to Mike and Kathy Paton for leading Vernon Braness, Mike McLaughlin, and Jan Grandstaff on our ROTH ride to lunch. What a gorgeous day it was to ride to Darrell’s in Hamlin, Iowa. As most of us know, they have great tenderloins, specials and PIE!!!

There were five of us with four bikes that rode about 200 miles total. Little to no traffic, sunshine and the wind was nowhere as bad as was the forecast which made for a leisurely ride.

As with most of our rides, we had to stop for ice cream at one of our favorite stops. It was just warm enough for our first taste of ice cream to start out the 2022 riding season.

Watch for our ROTH and pop up rides that are not on the ride calendar. Rumor has it we will be trying to do more ROTH rides this year and some may even be for breakfast. If you have a day you would like to ride or a destination in mind, please let your Road Captain, Mary Higbee or Director, Mike McLaughlin, or any of the officers know. Hope to see you on the next ride!!!
